FAQ

How is G.A.P different from other tutoring & academic programs?

G.A.P understands the mastery level for each student will vary for a chosen subject matter, so we begin the process to learn the current academic history through grades at school and  listen to the concerns of our parents. Next step will be to complete our own in-house assessment to further uncover your loved ones’ strengths and weakness for the concerned subject matter.  Lastly, will have a consultation with the responsible party to review the results and share our recommendations on how we can serve your child’s academic needs the best.

How often does my child need to attend classes?

Students at G.A.P usually attend class 2-3 times a week and the schedule for classes will be  based on the results from the initial assessment and the goals we have for your loved one to excel in academics and for them to become an independent and active learner.

What is the cost for your tutoring and academic services?

G.A.P services are customized to your child’s academic needs and goals, so the cost can vary based on how often they attend classes and on an average, the cost could range from $120-$240.00 for every two weeks. The classes are packaged as sessions to be purchased in advance and can be renewed as needed.

What is the format for your class session?

Every class session is designed to ensure instruction and application of the concepts being taught takes place without fail. Hence, the first hour of class will be dedicated for guided practice where the interactive instruction takes place and the second hour will be used for independent practice, where the student gets a chance to apply the concepts, in order to ensure mastery of the skills being  taught for that session.
